- Strengthen arm and shoulder muscles: triceps, pectoralis major, rotator cuff, brachialis, biceps, latissimus dorsi and deltoid.
- Strengthen scapular stabilizers: serratus anterior, trapezius and rhomboids.
- Increase torso and pelvic stabilization.
