Thank you so much! You have taught me so many things theses past two years as I have transitioned from retiring from my job of thirty years to becoming a Pilates instructor. I heard 60 is the new 30! 😊
I became certified in September 2021 as an instructor at Club Pilates and have a small studio in my home.
Due to my own personal journey with breast cancer and osteoporosis,I am certified in Bone Health and with the Pink Ribbon program. I so appreciate your knowledge regarding the Pelvic floor.
Thank you again for allowing me to glean from you.
Blessings,
Laura
Hi Laura,
60 is definitely the new 30 😄 Congrats on becoming an instructor, and on getting that extra certification that I'm sure is being put to good use in your sessions! Thank you for your kind words of support - I'm so happy my videos are helping you through your Pilates journey.
Thanks for the love ❤️
Cheers,
Gabrielle
I am also in my 60s and have been a Pilates instructor for 20 years I have a small commercial studio. Serving clientele in their 60s 70sand 80s.
It is a great pleasure to witness people enjoying their lives and bodies well into their 60s 70s and 80s.
Also, I’m just wondering if there’s a way to include transcripts in your video instructions.
Loving at all and happy to hear Laura and to hear of her journey of getting to Pilates.
Archer ❤️
Hi Archer, I 100% agree with you that seeing people in their 60s to even 90s being able to move well and enjoy life because of it is such a pleasure! It is never too late to start Pilates. It is never too late to feel the benefits from the practice.
As of now, I don't have any extra time to include exercise and springs breakdowns in the instructions, but hopefully as my platform grows, I'll be able to carve out more time for that! :)
Thanks for sharing your story here, Archer. I appreciate you!
