I would love to see more chair classes, especially beginner/low intermediate level. I think this one was a bit too advanced for me.
It really challenged my balance--I had to put the chair behind my reformer/tower so I could use the tower uprights for safety and control (and even a little help with raising up on the lunges). I guess I need to experiment to find a spring setting that gives me a little more support going up on those? But if it's too heavy than it's harder to control. Like you said in the video, the chair is hard!
I just switched from an old, used Merrithew chair with handles at home to a new Exo chair without handles (which I'd previously used in the studio with a teacher.) I am finding the springs and adjustability on the Exo chair to be a lot more challenging than the Merrithew. But I am looking forward to getting more practice with it. Thanks!
