- Strengthen arm and shoulder muscles: biceps, brachialis, triceps, pectoralis major, latissimus dorsi, rotator cuff and deltoid.
- Strengthen scapular stabilizers: serratus anterior, trapezius and rhomboids.
- Increase torso and pelvic stabilization.
